Tuition fees
The average tuition fees for international students studying in the UK can vary significantly based on the level of study and the specific institution.

Generally, for undergraduate programs, tuition fees range from approximately £11,400 to £38,000 per year, with medical degrees often costing at the higher end of this spectrum

For postgraduate programs, the fees can be even broader, with costs ranging from £12,000 to £40,000 per year, depending on the specific course and university. In summary, while the lower end of the spectrum starts around £12,000, many programs, especially in fields like medicine, can exceed £40,000 annually.

 Living Expenses
The average living expenses for international students in the UK can vary depending on the location and lifestyle.  International students in the UK should budget the following for living expenses;

In London, international students can expect to spend approximately £15,600 to £16,800 per year. This includes accommodation, food, transportation and other personal expenses.

Outside of London, the cost is generally lower, ranging from £10,800 to £15,600 per year

Applying for Admission IN

The UK has three (3) main intakes for international students:

  • Autumn (September) Intake: This is the primary and most popular intake, with around 80% of international students applying during this period. It coincides with the start of the academic year and is when most courses are available.
  • Winter (January) Intake: This intake offers another opportunity for students who may have missed the September intake. It is less common than the autumn intake but still widely available across many universities.
  • Summer (May) Intake: This is the least common intake and is available for a limited number of courses and universities. It provides flexibility for students who need alternative start dates.

These intakes provide multiple opportunities throughout the year for international students to begin their studies in the UK.
